Have you ever built a “gingerbread” house that can be fully devoured by your pups!?
One of my happy childhood memories was the tradition of building gingerbread houses with all my cousins! Last year, I went home right before the holidays and was inspired by old photos from my youth on our kitchen fridge! 😝 I don’t have kids but I have a fur child and why not make a meat house that he can enjoy! 😜 And so the WilderHouse tradition began! We are ECSTATIC to bring back these kits and can’t wait so see what you guys bring to the table this year! Y’all never cease to amaze me with how creative you guys can get when it comes down to feeding your pets!
This year, we included some @mittenvarietytreats for some extra holiday magic for your houses! Thank you Jayme for putting these cute variety packs together! 🥹❄️ Another thing we did differently this year is that we made our WilderHouses just like our Test Kitchen Bites, so technically this is Test Kitchen No.9! 👀 All the details will be in our listing! 🥰
Look out for our holiday challenge post with details on how to enter! You can check out all the fun we had last year, here 👉🏽#wholidaychallenge23!

Here's our recipe for dog friendly icing aka "glue":
3/4 cups tapioca starch/flour
1/4 cup water
32oz tub of Fage Greek yogurt (this is what worked for us, feel free to use any plain greek yogurt you're comfortable feeding!)
In a bowl, add tapioca starch, mix in water, start with 1/4c, and slowly add more until you reach a viscous consistency. Add yogurt and mix well and transfer to a ziploc bag or piping bag. Feel free to pop it in the freezer for about 15-30 minutes!
Serving size: This amount is good for about 2-3 houses depending on how much frosting everyone uses! For one person I'd recommend halfing the recipe. You can use this recipe as the base and separate into different piping bags if you want to add color! See below!*
You can also do a 1:1 ratio of greek yogurt to peanut butter!
*Optional: To add color to your frosting you can add:
Blue spirulina for BLUE
Turmeric for YELLOW
*Wildly Blended's "The Purrrfect Pear" supplement for RED
Beet powder for PINK
Phytoplankton/chlorella (or similar) for GREEN OR..
Blue Spirulina + turmeric for GREEN
Beet powder + blue spirulina for PURPLE
Turmeric + beet powder (or "The Purrrfect Pear" supplement) for ORANGE
*One of our brand reps found that this worked best for achieving a nice red color! Please feel free to use whatever works best for you! We love their products!
