- These salmon skin twists are pretty oily, please refrigerate/freeze upon receiving them! We vacuum-sealed* them for extra freshness and so the oil does not deep through the bag!
Salmon is high in omega 3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA. Essential fatty acids, specifically DHA, have been scientifically proven to be necessary for cognitive development and function. Also beneficial for eye health, fights inflammation, reduces risks of cancer and can help improve your pet's skin/coat health!
*Please note that even if the vacuum sealed bag is no longer airtight, it should be fine because the bag its in is also air tight. We just recommend storing them in the freezer for maximum freshness. We did a test without the vacuum-sealed bags and some of the oilier pieces would cause the bag to get saturated with oil. The vacuum sealed bag is mainly to avoid that!

My GSD pup loves these crunchy goodness. When I put this in his meal, he always devours his wilder bites 1st, especially the salmon skin.
We have been cautious about giving Okubo salmon because his foster said she suspected he might have an allergy. Once we got his gut health and fully switched him to raw, we decided to try these again because we got it with our support AAPI packs. I love that they are vacuum sealed because it is less messy!! He loves these and so far no itchiness! Can’t wait to add these to his seafood rotation.
These salmon skins are filled with great oils. They are extremely well packed and You can smell them as soon as you open the bag. My dog also can smell them immediately and these get the drool Bubbles active. They are also a great way to diversify your pets proteins!
Cannot get over the fact that these come vacuum sealed to avoid oily mess in transit! How thoughtful! Salmon skin is so good for the pup... I usually add a small piece as a meal topper for an omega-3 boost.

These have been in stock more recently than the Wild Salmon (another favorite). These have all the good oils from salmon that they come vacuum sealed so that the bag doesn't get messy, but also to retain all the value the oil provides. Definitely something to consider as an alternative to a salmon oil supplement.
