Neutral

Quail is considered to be a "neutral" protein. Neutral proteins are great for any dog or cat and can help with any yin or yang deficiencies.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, food is energy and the primary concept is to have balance. The food theory is divided into cooling proteins (Yin), warming proteins (Yang) and neutral proteins.

Amazing!

My dog Cooper (@mymuttcooper) tried the baby quails and sardines. He absolutely loved them!!
We will definitely be purchasing more soon. So glad I found Wilder Bites! Such amazing treats at such a good price. ❤️

Great for adding variety!

Don't be afraid of feeding whole prey! The feathers are great for helping keep their digestive track clean. Our trainer referred to it as a "feather duster" when explaining the benefits of having feathers (and fur) on. Belle loved these and I hope to get some during their next restock to add into her meals again.

Good intro to whole prey

I’ve always been intrigued by whole prey and these were the perfect starter. I love that there are multiple sizes offered. We started with the tiny at first and once he took to it went for bigger ones. I recommend feeding outside or a mat.

Not my pup’s cup of tea

Maybe they were confused with what to do with it! 1 of the 3 dogs ate one after i broke it to pieces 🤦‍♀️ .
